Plastiferro Tubos S.A. begins its activities in 1990, with the enthusiasm of a country that promised to develop more and better. In its beginnings, Plastiferro distributed pipes and accessories through all national territory, but the goal of its founder members was to become one of the most important manufacturers in the field, and then, to achieve the leading role it has nowadays.

That is how in a short period of time and with its own capital, it makes the first of its investments, creating its first production plant from the Home Line in a 8000 m² building located in the locality of Esteban Echeverría – Province of Buenos Aires. Currently, the mentioned manufacturing center has 5 Extrusion Lines and 10 injectors.

Since its beginnings, the company’s premise was to achieve the needed quality to satisfy the needs of the customers, because of that and aiming to supply one of the most important sectors in the country which is the Big Infrastructure Building Works, Plastiferro carries out in may of 2001, one of its most valuable investments, acquiring the Oblak Plástica’s Plant, located in Villa Mercedes in the Province of San Luis, with a covered surface area of 16.000 m² on a total surface area of 50.000 m².

This way, Plastiferro not only obtained the satisfaction of saving from disappearing a company genuinely National with certification ISO 9000 and quality stamp IRAM, but also saw fulfilled one of its most precious goals.

At the present time, our beloved San Luis Plant has 14 Extrusion Lines and it manufactures the most diverse range of products, oriented to Wastewater Drainage – Water – Rainwater – Irrigation – Optical pipes – Home and others; from 20mm to 2300mm diameter.

Finally, and with proud for all the people who form part of the company, in September 2008, a new Plant was inaugurated – with 60.000m2 surface area in the Province of Santiago del Estero, with two Extrusion Lines, performing once again, the strategic thinking of BEING the best PVC Transformer company in Argentina, due to its National Covering.

Today, Plastiferro Tubos S.A. counts with a production capacity of 4000 tons, with its three processing centers, employing more than 300 people.
